Labirinto da Saudade

It was an absolute pleasure to work in the first feature film of Longshot Productions with one of most emblematic Portuguese writer and philosopher Eduardo Lourenço and so many other personalities that are part of the Portuguese culture. The movie is and adaptation of the book ‘Labirinto da Saudade’ where the philosopher shares his vision on the Portuguese history. Like any other film, many challenges had to be overcome, the movie had almost 100 vfx shots divided between Pushvfx and O2 in Brasil. Our main challenge was achieving a visual representation of the oneiric vision of the philosopher and, in a sense, bring poetry to the screen.
